Environmental Policy
Lake Maintenance Pty Ltd is a facility management company providing construction, re-furbishment & maintenance services provided in the public, private, commercial, industrial, disability building and housing sectors. The organisation undertakes development, implementation and provision both internally and externally of SpyderFlow software products.
The Senior Leadership Team are committed to managing all environmental matters as an integral part of our business. We will do so by adhering to proactive management and the following principles:
Assessment
All new projects are assessed to ensure that all environmental aspects and impacts are identified and that these aspects and impacts that are identified are then addressed to eliminate, control or minimise the impact on the Environmental surroundings including air, water, land, natural resources, flora, fauna, humans, heritage and their interrelation. Appropriate resources will be allocated.
Commitment to personnel and public
We will protect our workers, work sites, adjacent aspects and the communities in which we operate by employing safe technologies and operating procedures, supervision, training, as well as being prepared for any type of emergencies including environmental. We will comply with all applicable Legal & other requirements which are related to Lake Maintenance operations.
Prevention of pollution
We will strive to prevent releases to the atmosphere, land or water. We will ensure the safe treatment and disposal of waste by risk management, audit, inspection and process compliance.
Commitment to compliance & training of personnel
We will comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Strict compliance with environmental standards will be a key
ingredient in the training of all workers.
We will communicate our commitment to environmental management to our employees and subcontractors and
other interested parties through our Induction process, our Training program, consultation & processes. We will seek
their input in meeting our established environmental goals.
Review and Continual Improvement
We will continually seek opportunities to improve our adherence to the AS/NZS ISO14001 Standard through risk management, customer feedback, technology enhancements & Audits. We will evaluate our EMS effectiveness, the policy and process, Audit results, objectives and targets compliance at Senior Leadership Team meetings.
